Rules of composition

Class: Two days, up to 4 hours of class time

• Bring: Camera, Manual, Lenses (if possible have a selection of lenses that cover the focal lengths from 24mm to 200mm)

Day 1: We will learn and see examples of the most common rule of composition. Learn how to see the world like your camera does. Learn when its time to break or maybe bend the rules to get the best results.

** Go out and practice what you have learned and in a week or two we will schedule the second day**

Day 2: Image reviews and evaluations. In this class we will look at photos you took for your homework. We will see how compositional elements in a photograph can be used to make a stronger image.
